Creating a browser bookmark to automatically log on to Kiosk2Go

You can create a browser bookmark that will start Kiosk2Go and automatically log on. The url for the bookmark can include a Kiosk2Go layout device name and a user name, but no password. If the user does not have a password, they will be logged on automatically when the bookmark is opened.

To create a browser bookmark to automatically log on to Kiosk2Go

  1. Open a browser and type in the url to connect to Kiosk2Go.

    For example: http://10.20.0.99:7681

  2. Create a bookmark, and then edit the bookmark to include userName and deviceName settings:

    http://<IP address of node>:7681/kiosk2Go.html?userName=<user name>&devName=<Kiosk2Go device layout device name>

where userName is the NWare user name used to log on to Kiosk2Go, and devName is the name of the Kiosk2Go Layout device block.

    For example:

    10.20.0.99:7681/kiosk2Go.html?userName=elliot&devName=iPad
