Adding the CAB 8n

1. In the device tree, expand the Hardware folder.
2. Expand the CAB Audio I/O folder.
3. Drag a CAB 8n object over to the design page.

   The CAB 8n Properties dialog box is displayed.

   

4. If you want to change the role to which this device belongs, click the button to change it to the button, and then select a role name in the list.
5. In the Audio lists, click Input or Output to specify the function of each audio connector on the device.
6. Click Advanced, and then select the Advanced Subchannel Mapping check box. Click OK.
7. If you want to use the GPIO connector on the rear of the CAB to communicate with external devices, select the function for each pin in the GPIO Pin lists.

8. Click OK.
