Loading a project

The procedure below explains how to load a project from a mapped drive listed in Windows Explorer, but you can also load a project from a node to which it has been deployed. For more information, see Uploading a project to NWare and connecting to it.

Note: If you load a project that has been created using a different version of NWare, it is important to understand the compatibility issues that may arise with the different devices in the project. For more information, see Dealing with project compatibility issues.

To load a project

1. On the toolbar, click the Open button .
2. Select an NWare Project Archive file (.npa) from the Open dialog box.
3. Click Open.

   The project is loaded into a new NWare window.

   Tip: You can also load projects by opening the File menu, pointing to Recent, and then making a selection.
