Saving a project

The procedure below explains how to save a project (.npa file) to a mapped drive listed in Windows Explorer, but you can also save a project to a node when you deploy it. It can then be loaded from the node for editing later on. For more information, see Deploying a project.

Tip: When you save a project file, details about the version of NWare used are saved with the project. When you subsequently load the project file, the version details are displayed on the Log tab.

To save a project

  1. On the toolbar, click the Save button .
  2. If you have not already specified a file name:

    The Save As dialog box will be displayed.

    1. Select or type an NWare Project Archive file (.npa).
    2. Click Save.
