Controlling access to pages in the design frame

You can prevent NWare users from viewing and editing pages in your project by protecting them with a password.

Users may have access to your project file on your PC or network, and they may also be able to access the file from the MediaMatrix device hosting the project if the Save Project to Target option was selected during deployment. If a project with no password protection on its pages has been saved on a node, someone could download NWare from the MediaMatrix website, then use the Upload and Connect option on the File menu to load the project on their PC and edit it. It could then be redeployed.

Notes:

• The password controls access to pages within NWare, not Kiosk. Page access in Kiosk is controlled by exporting pages to a page group and then allowing users access to that group. For more information, see Exporting pages from an NWare project.
• Do not lock pages within the device or the page on which the device is located in your design. You will not be able to access the locked pages from the iPhone or iPad.
