To help you design screens for the nTouch 60 that will be as useful and effective as possible, we have devised a number of recommendations for controls.
Type of control |
Recommendations |
All controls |
Arrange controls at least 16 pixels apart to avoid the user pressing the wrong control. |
Button |
Set the size to at least 87 (w) x 93 (h) to allow for a range of finger sizes and for a label to be displayed above the button. |
Rotary control |
This type of control is difficult to gesture using the touch screen. Wire the control to the global knob control or the knob control for one of the pages. Alternatively, use a separate up arrow button and a down arrow button to the user to increase or decrease the value. |
