On the Controls tab, the NWare nTouch 60 device has a knob control for each individual page and a single, global knob control. It is important to understand what each knob control does and when to use it.

Knob control for each page |
Stores a value for that page on the nTouch 60 device. Each knob control of this type can store a different value. |
When you want to wire the knob control on one page to one device, and the knob control on another page to a different device. For example, if you want to control the gain for amplifier A on page 1 and the gain for amplifier B on page 2:

Global knob control |
Stores a single value for the entire nTouch 60 device. |
When you want to control the same device using the knob control on more than one page of the nTouch 60 device. For example, if you have a single amplifier in your project and you want to allow the user to control the gain from more than one page on the nTouch 60 device:
