Troubleshooting
If you are having problems getting the nTouch 180 up and running, check this section for a solution to the issue you are experiencing.
Controls have turned yellow and do not function
This could be because:
- The network connection has been lost. The network status will be displayed on screen. Check the connections between the unit and the network.
- The NION project is being redeployed. Wait until the deployment process has completed.
- The NION project has been renamed and redeployed. Reboot the unit, and then connect to the newly named project.
The project does not load
If the Opening project <project name> dialog box is displayed, but the project does not load, this may be because:
- The MediaMatrix device hosting the project is not running.
- The project name, username or password has not been specified correctly.
- The network settings are incorrect.
- The network cable between the nTouch 180 and the local switch is not plugged in.
To reconfigure the unit:
- Press Cancel, and then on the Starting Kiosk... screen, press Run Setup.
- Check the configuration settings and make changes as appropriate.
- If you have changed the network settings, restart the unit, otherwise press Exit to exit the set up screen.
- Wait for the nTouch 180 to start up and connect to the project.
Tip: If the project has already loaded and you want to change the configuration, you will need to reboot the unit and then, on the Starting Kiosk... screen, press Run Setup.
