Wiring controls to the Project Link Client device

You must use the correct type of wiring node on the Project Link Client device when you want to wire the block to devices in your client project(s). NWare will prevent you from wiring the wrong types of nodes. If this happens:

• Check that you have chosen the correct options on the device properties of the Project Link Client device.
• Check that you are wiring the correct node on the block.
• Check that the device you are wiring has the correct master/slave/peer wiring option selected on the device properties.

  Tip: When you hover the mouse pointer over a wiring node on the Project Link Client block, a tooltip is displayed showing the wiring node type.

To wire a control that will receive values from linked server controls

1. Add a slave wiring node to the control.
2. Control wire the wiring node to the read_x node on the Project Link Client device.

To wire a control that will send values to linked server controls

1. Add a master wiring node to the control.
2. Control wire the wiring node to the write_x node on the Project Link Client device.

To wire a control that will send values to, and receive values from, linked server controls

1. Add a master wiring node to the control.
2. Control wire the master wiring node to the peer_x node on the Project Link Client device.
