In this example, the Pink Noise Generator is not linked to a NioNode flyoff – only the XDAB block. Assuming the device has not been assigned to a role manually by the user (via the Device Placement option on the Tools menu), the compiler will assign it to a role automatically. When this operation is performed, the compiler picks a role at random and a warning message is displayed.
Note: The random assignment is made, even if the NioNode hosting the role runs out of DSP resources when the role is deployed.
