The first priority is the Dante network connection. The RJ-45 connectors on the Dante interface are designed to connect with standard, off-the-shelf Category 5e or 6 cable for use with standard Ethernet network switches.
Notes:
A typical Dante system includes a CAT 6 cable from each CAB to a network switch. An additional CAT 6 cable connects the switch to one or more NION Dante cards.
Note: The example below is the most basic configuration. Large systems on managed networks can get very complex. We recommend that you get this configuration working before attempting a more complex one.
