Installing hardware devices

NWare can be used to design an audio system without having access to hardware devices like NIONs and CAB4ns. You can do some initial testing within NWare using emulation mode, before deploying your project to NIONs. As part of the design process you will be able to determine exactly what hardware devices are required, depending on the number of audio input and output connections and DSP processing power needed. Once the hardware devices are available on the local area network, you can test your project on them.

Tip: Information on installing the hardware devices is provided in the individual hardware manuals / installation guides.
