Bypass |
When activated, routes the input signal directly to the output channel without passing through the gate. The Side Chain input is not bypassed, so the state LED continues to update. |
Peak Threshold |
Sets the input level above which the gate will open. |
Depth |
Sets the amount of attenuation to apply to the input. |
Hold Time |
Determines how long the gate will remain open after the side chain signal falls below the threshold. The hold time evens out the response of the device by allowing some time for the signal to exceed the threshold after amplifying the output signal. If recovery is enabled, the hold time value is replaced by the recovery time value. |
State LED |
When lit, shows that the gate is open (the signal is being passed through the gate with no attenuation). Note: The Gate waits for a zero crossing to occur before switching between open and closed states. The Open Indicator accurately reflects the state of the device given this condition. If a DC signal is applied to the input, the gate may not be able to change state because the signal may not invert. |
Detect decay (det decay) |
Sets the peak detector time. |
