Controls can be graphically wired to one another to form Control Groups. A Controls wiring properties are accessible in its Control Properties dialog in the Wiring tab. In the Control Wiring dialog box, you can independently enable the display of the three available Control Wiring nodes for that Control: slave, peer and master. These nodes display, left to right, underneath the Control.
Here are the types of wired group relationships:
Controls wired directly to one another are linked by position, that is, the graphical position, between all the way down and all the way up, of the linked Controls will track.
Note: If you make a copy of a control - a fader, for example, and then set up the copy as a slave control, you will not be able to gesture the original control or the copy. It may not be obvious that a particular control has been set up as a slave, as the copy may be on a different page in the design and have a different appearance. You can use the Find command on the Edit menu to locate all the copies of a particular control to see if any are used in a slave configuration. The Find Results tab at the bottom of the screen will display clickable links to the original control and all its copies. You can then click each link and check to see if any of the copies are set up as slaves.
Tip: You can create a peer-to-peer group of two or more controls by selecting the controls and then clicking Control Group on the Tools menu.
