Connections

The PC running NWare and Dante Controller is connected to the Dante network.

Connections are generally made between Dante devices via a switch. However, Dante also allows for direct connections between equipment to be made.

In all cases, routes must be configured using Dante Controller.

Notes:

• If only one Dante enabled device is available to connect to your PC, you can eliminate the switch and connect the two with a Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable.
• The secondary port found on some Dante devices is for Dante redundancy only.
