Topic: Pasha - Multiple Serial Ports and Protocols?

There has been a few projects recently where the customer needs the ability to use both Pagematrix and X-Control on a single node system, currently with Nware this is impossible as you are forced to select between the two protocols. Looking at the Help file under Pasha it does state the following "Only one serial port and protocol are allowed on each NioNode in a project" my question is, how strict is this? Can Pasha support two protocols? What are the implications?

The NION doesn't support multiple protocol/serial port combos, It's fairly enforced due to the specific design which was used at the time for the management of the serial ports.
We need to add this specific feature request to the list, and it will certainly be considered for future version...
