Topic: BTU Usage of NION

Had a question via email that I figured should also be posted on the Forum.

The NION draws around than 125 watts using 4 AEC cards with phantom power on all 32 channels.  Did a simple project, pushing audio out via CobraNet.

This is the highest draw of any configuration.

This works out to 426.5 BTU/hour

Make it intuitive, never leave them guessing.

This mini excavators recommendation is very thorough and is the highest draw of any configuration.

This works out to 426.5 BTU/hour

426.5 BTU per hour is pretty solid, no?

Thanks for digging this out Andrew.
It comes up from time to time, and not officially published that I've ever found.
