How I can evaluate the noise on failure?

I know that the best option to avoid noise on failure is select "Mute all on any node or XDAB failure" option.
But I'm interested on "Do not mute on node or XDAB failures" option because when one node fails I want the other nodes can continue giving audio without interrupt the service.

Probably the Mute options is because some noise is injected in xdab resync or when the node fall down or is up again. But I can't evaluate if is dangerous this option or how many time the noise can be heared and in which situations.
