Topic: Kiosk - closing subwindows

The various launcher/page jump option are great if that's what you want to do.
On some pages, it is good to open a block as a sub-page.
Unfortunately, the only way to close it appears to be to hit the cross in the top corner (not easy with my fat fingers, and the resolution of nTouch180).
Is there a way to use a real (sizeable) button to close the window/block that contains it?

Thanks.

Re: Kiosk - closing subwindows

Hi Phil, we had this issue recently with a customer. Charles A sorted us out,see below:

In XP, Right click on the windows background and select properties. Choose the appearance tab. Click on the Advanced button. From the Item pulldown,. select Palette Title. Choose a Size (try 50). Click ok, then click apply. You should now see a large close button in the child windows.

In Windows 7, type "change" in the start menu search field (no quotes). Select "change window color and metrics". Under item, select "Pallette Title". Increase the size.

Note that you can customize lots of other things through this route.

Re: Kiosk - closing subwindows

Hi James,

Thanks for this - had a play, looks good. Didn't figure out what all the options did yet.

Now another: is there a way to fix the location of a child window, as there was in MWare? It would be good to have a set of channel strip windows all pop up in one location on screen.
