Topic: NWare 1.6.0 officially released

NWare 1.6.0 has been officially released.

You can download the complete NWare suite here:
http://mm.peavey.com/assets/software/NW … -0_637.msi

Or, if you just need NWare:Kiosk, it can be found here:
http://mm.peavey.com/assets/software/NW … sk_636.msi

But, whatever you do, be certain to download and read the release notes for this version. They can be found here
(I'll let you know where they are as soon as I know!)
and in PDF form:
(I'll post links as soon as I can get PDFs made and uploaded to the website!)

If you are interested in all of the release notes from all previous versions of NWare, they can be found here:
http://www.peaveyoxford.com/kc/NWare%20 … s.pdf(does NOT include 1.6.0)

The Knowledge Base has not yet been updated to reflect this release.

Please let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks and have fun!

Re: NWare 1.6.0 officially released

Just downloaded (at home), which reminded me:
With the installer now at 79MB, it would be really nice to have the option of not downloading all the documentation.
But it's great that it's up!

I agree, Phil. That has already been discussed, and possibilities are being explored.

How would you like to see the software split up?

Re: NWare 1.6.0 officially released

Hi Josh, my thought was to maintain the current full installer for normal/first time use, but have a separate NWare:lite download without any of the help/documentation.

Perhaps (I don't know how it works), this install could look for previous installed versions and point itself to previous help files. Alternatively, F1 could just bring up a message that said that Help was not available in this install, please use KC or prev version or install full version when convenient.
