Topic: Cobranet Current version?

What is the current version that works in the Nion's and the CAB4n CM-1 products?  Presently I have 2.9.16 in the nion's and 2.9.11 in the CAB4n's.

Hi Todd-

As of this writing, the current line-up is as follows:

NION: 2.9.16
CAB 4n - CM1: 2.9.11
CAB 4n - CM2: 2.11.3
All 1RU CABs: 2.9.12
Cobranet DPU Cards for MM Frames: 2.9.12


I know this is not easy to remember, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense off-hand, but these are the current CobraNet Firmware versions for the MediaMatrix products.

I have 1 Nion with 2.9.12 that needs updated.  Where do I get the right firmware?  It is not on the cobranet.info site.  My class was too long ago for this tired mind to remember.

Hi Todd-

On the MediaMatrix website we have an .exe that is a zip archive of all MediaMatrix's CobraNet Firmware for all of our devices.

From the main MediaMatrix webpage ( http://mediamatrix.peavey.com/ ) follow these steps:
1. Select "Downloads"
2. Look in the "By Product" column and select "Software"
3. Now select "CobraNetâ„¢ Software / Firmware"
4. Next you can download the file by selecting "MediaMatrix CobraNet Firmware Directory"

When you run the .exe you can specify where you would like it to unzip the archive. I highly recommend putting it somewhere you can find it later. This is because you may need to go into Tools>Options in CobraNet Discovery and specify where it should look for the firmware.

Oh yes... one more thing...

You will notice that we have a few other things  in the "CobraNetâ„¢ Software / Firmware" area on the website...
