Wave file format |
The format, i.e. mono or stereo, and the bit rate to use when creating the audio file. |
|
Sample rate |
The sample rate to use when creating the audio file (in Hz). It must be set to a multiple of the project sample rate. For example, if the system sample rate is 48KHz (which is typical), then realistic values for the sample rate are 48000, 24000, or 12000. |
|
decimation |
The value when multiplied with the sample rate must equal the project sample rate. For example, if the sample rate is set to 12000 and the project sample rate is 48000, then the correct setting for interpolation or decimation is 4x. |

enable CHIMP |
When selected, adds a CHIMP button to the control surface. When the project is running and this button is clicked, audio received via the input wiring nodes on the Wave File Recorder is directed to the PC sound card. This allows you to monitor the audio via the PC speakers or headphones. |
