The JL Cooper Controls device now supports RS-422 serial connections to the JL Cooper ES-8/100 or JL Cooper Eclipse MX faderbox in addition to RS-232 connections.

Known issues

NWare

57 - Additional steps needed for non-admin users running NWare under Windows XP

Currently, non-administrator users cannot run NWare or Kiosk under Windows XP without additional steps being completed after the installation.

The administrator must change the permissions of the \program files\mediamatrix\nware <version>\plugins\nware\xml folder to allow write access for the non-administrator users. Once this has been done, NWare and Kiosk will operate normally.

For more information, see Allowing non-admin Windows XP users to run NWare and Kiosk in the PDF or webhelp NWare User Guide.

662 - Exporting a page with an nTouch 60 device stops the nTouch 60 working

If you export a page, ready to make it available to Kiosk users, and that page contains an nTouch 60 node, this will prevent the pages inside the nTouch 60 block from being viewed on the nTouch 60.

Bug fixes

NWare

328 - Labeling of CAB GPIO ports incorrect

The GPIO tab on the control surface of each type of CAB showed incorrect labels for the pins.

673 - CAB serial ports not configured properly for ControlMatrix

The RS485 configuration for NWare CAB devices used a Format setting of 8 bit. This prevented the CAB from working with ControlMatrix systems.

In this version, the default Format setting is now 9 bit.
