Bug fixes
NWare
CobraNet conductor priority
In NWare 1.4.3, when you set the CobraNet conductor priority to Never, it did not prevent the NioNode from becoming a conductor. This has now been fixed, and the Never setting will work as expected.
Clicking a PDF link in the help caused NWare to close unexpectedly
In NWare 1.4.3, if you were running Adobe Reader 9, the following problem occurred:
If you opened the HTML help in NWare (by pressing F1 or clicking Help on the Help menu), then clicked one of the PDF links on the front page, NWare closed unexpectedly.
This issue has now been fixed. You can run Adobe Reader 9 or an earlier version and the PDF files will open as expected.
Deleting a tab sometimes caused NWare to close unexpectedly
In previous versions of NWare, deleting a page tab either in the main NWare window or within the properties of a device sometimes caused NWare to close unexpectedly. This problem has now been fixed.

Special procedure for uninstalling under Windows Vista
- To uninstall NWare under Windows Vista, you must complete the following procedure:
Start menu shortcuts not removed during Windows XP uninstall
Under Windows XP, when you uninstall NWare 1.4.4, the Start menu shortcuts are not removed.
Adobe applications must be closed for uninstall to complete
In order for the NWare 1.4.4 uninstall procedure to complete successfully, some Adobe applications, such as Photoshop, must be closed. A warning message will be displayed if an application needs to be closed.
Deleting media files from a project
When you delete media files listed on the Media tab, they are no longer shown on the tab, but may still be stored in the NWare project file. The delete operation does not reduce the size of the file.
This problem occurs when you are editing a project file created in an earlier version of NWare. If you create a new project file in the current version, it does not occur.
As a workaround, you can delete the media files manually from the following folders:
Windows XP
|
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MediaMatrix\NWare [version]\temp\[project file name].[reference number]
|
Windows Vista
|
C:\ProgramData\MediaMatrix\NWare [version]\temp\[project file name].[reference number]
|
When you save your project file, the size will be reduced.
