A time server can be contacted using a domain name or an IP address.
The Synchronization Domain setting has been removed from the Time and Timezone page of the web interface.
Note: NIONs running firmware prior to 1.4.2 will not synchronize time settings with NIONs running version 1.4.2 or later.
Note: Currently, you can also use ESC to close an open block. This feature will be removed in a future version.
Note: If you click another part of the window outside the design area, pressing F1 will no longer work. You must click the design area again, and then press F1.
There is an improved section on using NWare in Kiosk mode.
<hide_root_tab value = "true" />
.DEL
character can interrupt the boot process. The character is not used in normal control protocols.Tip: You can also set an environment variable, bootstopkey, in the flash, to specify an alternative character or character sequence.
Note: NWare does not support Windows path names that contain these characters.
Note: When you upgrade NWare to version 1.4.2, only the user preferences for the currently logged on user will be copied from the previous version. It is not possible to copy settings for other users who have logged on to the PC and used NWare. Version 1.4.2 of NWare (and future versions) will only store user preferences for a single user on the PC.
Note: It is currently not possible to uninstall NWare via Windows Control Panel, even if you are logged on as Administrator.
As a workaround, when you want to deploy the project, hold down the SHIFT key when you click the Deploy button. This will force a recompile of the project, before it is deployed.
Tip: To reduce the risk of compatibility problems, we recommend that the version of firmware running on the NION matches the version of NWare you are running.
